I would like to withdraw $10, the elderly woman stated as she gave the teller her bank card. For withdrawals under $100, the teller advised her to utilise an ATM. The elderly woman was curious as to why... The teller gave her bank card back and angrily said, "These are the rules; if there is no additional matter, please leave. Customers are waiting in line behind you. The elderly woman said, "Please help me withdraw all the money I have," after a brief period of silence and the return of her card to the teller. When the teller looked at the account amount, she was shocked. She calmly informed her, "You have $300,000 in your account, but the bank doesn't now have that much cash," as she nodded her head and leaned down. Would you please schedule a time to return tomorrow? The elderly woman then inquired as to how much she could withdraw right away. She was told any amount up to $3000 by the teller. "Well, kindly give me $3000 right away." She was graciously given $3000 by the teller, who was courteous and smiling. The elderly woman asked the teller to deposit $2990 back into her account after placing $10 in her purse. The moral of the story is to not be difficult to elderly folks because they have spent their entire lives mastering the ability.
