was Cleopatra a sophisticated Queen?

At the age of 17, Cleopatra took the kingdom, and she lived to be 39 years old. She was a multilingual woman. She was the only member of her dynasty who spoke Ancient Egyptian and could read hieroglyphs. The languages of the Parthians, Hebrews, Medes, Troglodytes, Syrians, Ethiopians, and Arabs were also among the languages she was familiar with, in addition to Greek.

With this information, she had access to any book in existence. She also pursued studies in geography, history, astronomy, international diplomacy, math, alchemy, medicine, zoology, economics, and other subjects in addition to languages. She made an effort to access all available knowledge.

A sort of prehistoric laboratory was where Cleopatra spent a lot of her time. She published various writings on plants and cosmetics. Sadly, the great Library of Alexandria fire in 391 AD destroyed every one of her books. After studying her work, the renowned physicist Galen was able to write down some of Cleopatra's inventions as recipes.

A particular lotion that might assist balding men in regrow their hair was one of these treatments, which Galen also suggested to her patients. None of the beauty advice from Cleopatra's writings has survived for us.

The Egyptian queen had a keen interest in herbal medicine and had access to many papyri that are now gone due to her language skills. In the early decades of Christianity, her impact on the sciences and medicine was well acknowledged. She is without a doubt a unique figure in human history.
