During World War II, Lepa Radic, a 17-year-old Bosnian teen, was executed for firing at the Nazis.
When they offered to spare her life in exchange for the identities of her collaborators in the final moments of her life, she refused, saying:
"I don't betray my people in any way. When they have succeeded in eliminating every last evildoer, those you ask will make themselves known ".
This girl, who was only 17 years old, received the death penalty.
I want it to be known that this girl deserves to have her tale told honestly so that people can see that while she was frightened of dying, she was so brave that she chose to be hanged rather than betray her.
