Her real identity is a secret. Nevertheless, she has come to represent the valiant Ukrainian resistance to the invading Russians led by the suspected war criminal Putin.

She gave the Ukrainian soldiers fighting on the front line a call to arms.

We have to get rid of them all, Charcoal remarked.

These individuals are not human. These orcs are worse than even the fascists. We must triumph against them.

Charcoal has been compared to the renowned shooter Lyudmila Pavlichenko, sometimes known as Lady Death since she killed 309 Nazis during World War II.

Olena Bilozerska, a 42-year-old female Ukrainian shooter, is also credited with at least 10 documented "kills" in the trenches.
