Hezbollah's Resilience and Rising Power

A Game Changer in the Israel-Lebanon Conflict

Hezbollah has gotten really good at fighting. They have drones and rockets that can now reach far into Israel. This makes them a lot stronger than before when they fought Israel. Even though they didn't have the best stuff back then, they still did okay against the Israeli army.

Now some other groups are helping Hezbollah too. So together they can do a lot more damage. This means Hezbollah is a much bigger problem for Israel now.

Israel is trying to go into Lebanon to take back some land. But they haven't gotten very much. All they have so far is:

- A hilltop near a place called Maroun El Ras. The distance to the border is around 800 meters (less than 1,000 ft).

Several homes near Odaisseh. They are less than 1,000 feet (200 meters) from the boundary.

Yaroun has a farmhouse and a few smaller homes. They are 600 metres (less than 1,000 feet) from the boundary.

Despite Israel's intense attacks, Hezbollah still fires missiles into northern Israel. Many Israelis are unable to return home due to this. Also, Hezbollah is receiving the brunt of Israel's attacks but remains resilient. It appears that as the war continues, Hezbollah gains more leverage over Israel. This is a significant shift because Israel used to be the greatest military force in the region. It'll be intriguing to see what comes next!
