do you know the latest dark world?
Those that you would consider the "usual suspects" are arguably the largest criminal organisations in the world
the Mafia in Italy. mostly centred on the Sicilian, 'Ndrangheta, Camorra, and Sacra Corona Unita mafias of Southern Italy. They have about 250,000 associates and 25,000 manufactured guys amongst them. The Italian Mafia, a powerful multinational organisation at the centre of the world's drug trade, significant racketeering, extortion, and several other criminal operations, is estimated to generate an absurd $165 billion (!) a year in revenue. the cartels in Mexico. Since El Chapo, the leader of the Sinaloa cartel, was apprehended, there has been a significant power struggle inside the cartels.Since then, the Sinaloa Cartel has split, and other Cartels are fluctuating. The Tijuana Cartel is a shell of its former existence, Los Zetas have been largely destroyed, and the Jalisco New Generation Cartel is growing. They are without a doubt the biggest player in the world's cocaine trade, and they have the resources, force, and violence to back it up. The annual revenue of the Sinaloa Cartel alone is believed to be between $18 and $39 billion (depending on year). The Cartels have created their own narco submarines, narco tanks, and special troops. They are a force to be feared on a worldwide scale. a Triad. The Triads, sometimes (inappropriately) referred to as the "Chinese Mafia," are found in virtually every significant Chinese population across the world. While there are various Triads,Although there are many distinct Triad groups, the Wo Shing Wo, Sun Yee On, and 14K are the three most common ones. Researchers Shanty and Mistra calculated their yearly global income from drugs alone is astounding $200 billion a year (heroin and synthetics being important items), and another $3.5 billion comes from people trafficking into Europe and the US. the Yakuza Contrary to the others, the Yakuza have a thin veneer of acceptance in Japanese society thanks to the fact that the majority of the Clans are registered corporations with headquarters in posh locales. The Yamaguchi-gumi, Sumiyoshi-kai, and Inagawa-kai are known as the "big 3." The Yakuza are a shell of their former selves, yet still being a significant power and large enough to be included on this list. They were thought to be in the 1960sOriginally thought to have 200,000 members, they now probably only have 20,000 or fewer. Drug trafficking, along with people trafficking, financial and real estate fraud, and extortion, is a major source of income. Their projected annual income is $13 billion, which is not insignificant, surpassing the American Mafia but falling short of the first three. the Mafia of Russia. The Russian Mafia, or Bratva to give it their proper name, is a growing organised crime group with an expanding transnational reach. Although they technically evolved from pre-existing crime groups with the fall of the Soviet Union, they are significantly more recent than the other four.
In fact, 200 Bratva organisations with a global audience were projected to number 6,000 in 2012. The largest gang is the Solntsevskaya Bratva, which is led by Semion Mogilevich, the "boss of bosses" and "most deadly mobster in the world," according to the FBI. The Bratva engage in the usual roster of criminal activity, including drug trafficking, human trafficking, racketeering, etc. However, they have a real history of financial fraud and cybercrime, which sets them apart from the competition. The Bratvas are the 'poorest' on the list, according to Forbes, who estimates that they earn a combined $8.5 billion year, but it's still a staggering sum, and they are undoubtedly on the rise.
