Famous Hollywood actress and United Nations ambassador Angelina Jolie, when she visited the flood-affected areas in Pakistan and on her return to the United States, wrote a special report for the United Nations, in which she presented the situation of the victims in a very painful way.  On the other hand, they were shocked to see the luxury and behavior of the Pakistani rulers.



 Angelina Jolie, who strictly avoided photo sessions and media appearances in Pakistan, wrote in her report that she was saddened to see that high-ranking officials and influential figures kept pushing the victims back while standing in queues to meet her.  .  Everyone wanted to meet me.  He was hurt to see that when the Prime Minister wished him, his family was eager to meet Hollywood's number one actress.  His family reached Islamabad by a special plane from Multan to meet me and gave me expensive gifts.  The Prime Minister and his family also invited me for various types of food.  Angelina writes that it was an occasion of great sorrow and sadness for me when the table was full of various foods.  Those meals were enough for hundreds of people to get by by jostling each other for just a bag of flour and a small bottle of water.  He was also surprised that on the one hand there is hunger and poverty in the country and on the other hand the magnificence and splendor of the Prime Minister's House and many other government buildings is enough to surprise even the West.


 In her report, Angelina Jolie advised the United Nations to urge Pakistan to end extravagance and reduce spending before seeking aid from the United Nations.
