Often known as the Melanin Goddess, Khoudia Diop was born in Senegal. She was teased as a child because of her extremely dark skin color. But after moving to Paris at the age of 15, she was approached by fashion houses suggesting she became a model. In 2016, at the age of 19, she moved to New York City for college. After being featured in a campaign called the “The Colored Girl Project”, her Instagram followers grew to 300,000. She is now the face of the French cosmetics brand “Make Up For Ever.” She is undeniably beautiful. For those who made fun of her in her youth, there is no doubt they’re biting their tongues now.
