Lessons from the Boxing Ring
I spent the 1970s boxing against difficult opponents. Joe Frazier pounded my face, Muhammad Ali stunned me, and Ron Lyle repeatedly knocked me down before I won. Each fight left me with bruises, weak knees, and blood in my eyes, but the agony passed swiftly. I'd probably forget about those struggles if I hadn't seen the films from those matches.Life's difficult periods are also like that. Do not let pain and disappointment fester. Move forward and leave the difficulties behind.
