Metra is a community that is located 714 metres above sea level.
Seventy-two people, including thirty-seven men and thirty-five women, reside in the village of Metra.
The odd thing is that there isn't a pharmacy or a bank here.
The city of Matera is perched atop a rocky outcrop in the southern Italian region of Basilicata. Included in it is the Sassi region, a collection of habitations carved into the mountainside. The Sassi, which were evacuated in 1952 due to subpar living circumstances, are now home to museums such the Casa Grotta di Vico Solitario, which features antique furniture and handicraft supplies. The nearby rock church St. Lucia alle Malve features frescoes from the thirteenth century.
