the stolen gold

What happened to the Kuwaiti gold that Saddam Hussein stole?

Some of it was transported to the UK while concealed in a type 69 tank's fuel tank.

Speaking of the best eBay find.

A Type 69 tank owned by Iraq was purchased by UK tank driving experience owner Nick Mead for $37,000 on eBay. Not too awful of a price, I guess. When he found five gold bars stashed in the fuel tank, totaling around $2.5 million, the value of his acquisition dramatically increased.

Saddam Hussein probably utilised the Chinese-made tank during his invasion of Kuwait in 1990.
