Who first defeated the Mongols?

The Battle of Ain Yalut, which took place between the Mamluks of Egypt and the Mongols, is remembered in world history. This conflict occurred in the 13th century in 1260. The Mongols were unstoppable at the time and possessed the world's most powerful army. The Mamluks were able to halt the Mongol advance in the Middle East, dispelling the notion of the invincibility of the Mongols. Therefore, this fight was of immense importance for the Muslims in the Middle East. They considered the Mongols' defeat to be an extremely significant event since it radically altered their ambitions to expand the Mongol Empire's frontiers into Africa and capture Egypt.The Battle of Ain Goliath halted the expansion of the Mongol Empire and perhaps marked the beginning of the demise of the Mongol Empire.
