Chinese Calendar Explain.

The Chinese calendar is a lunisolar calendar, which means that it is based on both the lunar and solar cycles. The lunar cycle is about 29.5 days, so the Chinese calendar adds an extra month about every three years to keep the calendar in sync with the solar cycle, which is about 365.25 days. Each year is assigned an animal from the Chinese zodiac, and there are 12 animals in total. Additionally, each year is also assigned one of five elements: metal, water, wood, fire, and earth. The combination of the animal and element creates a 60-year cycle.
